Construction Project and Youth Mission Trip

Construction Project-   The Guatemala Baptist Convention will be building a ministry center
                for the landfill residents.  The site is one block from the landfill. 
                Enclosing the compound is the necessary first step in the construction process. 
                Future plans include a day-care center, women’s center and medical clinic.
                Block masons and helpers are needed.

Youth Mission Project- Assisting with construction along with food and Scripture Distribution
                at the Landfill.

Project Cost:        We are looking to our churches to provide $10,000.00 for construction and
                ministry supplies and materials.  Those unable to go and participate will
                have the opportunity to participate financially.

In-Country Expense:    $425.00      Food, lodging, transportation, insurance, etc.  Due July 15, 2011   

Air Fare:        As of February, 2011 the cost was $519.00 and subject to change.
                Making a group reservation will add over $200.00 per ticket.  Therefore,
                tickets will be bought individually or in smaller groups as close to our
                flight schedule as possible.  Please don’t hesitate if you are interested in going.  Tickets will
                get expensive as seats fill up.
